The hospital has all the basic
specialties such as General Medicine, General Surgery,
Orthopaedics, ENT, Obstertics and to the overall
infrastructural facilities for broad specialties, the
hospital offers the services of super specialties like
Cardiology, Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery,
Urology, Nephrology, Neurology Neuro-Surgery,
Laparoscopic Surgery, Pediatrics Surgery, Neonatology,
Gastroenterology, Oncology, Diabetology, Assisted
Reproduction Centre, Joint replacement and Arthroscopy,
Clinical Immunology and rheumatology etc.
 There
are trained and qualified dietitians to provide dietary advice to
patients and a team of medical social workers to provide emotional
support to patients, cater to their non-medical requirements and for
counseling where necessary. The 24-hour services are of course
headed by the Accident & Emergency but include the Pharmacy, the
Laboratories, the X-Ray and CT Scan units, and the Blood Bank. The
philosophy of the Hospital has been that all the required medical

not look elsewhere for any aspect of his care.

High-end Extra-Corporeal Shock Wave Lithotripsy, Gamma Camera,
Invasive Cardiology, Cardiac Surgery, Renal Dialysis etc. and has a

hospital, many more facilities and services are being constantly
added, in the never-ending endeavour of keeping abreast with the
times and providing only the best for patients. We are also at the

 The
main operation theatre complex contains nine theatres (an additional
eight are planned) with an elaborate built-in system for graded
clean zones ensuring asepsis and sterility. The OT complex
incorporates concepts hitherto found only in textbooks of hospital
planning, including a one-way flow of traffic, separate clean,
super-clean and dirty corridors and features that delight the
surgeon and provide better care to the patient. General purpose
theatres have 5-micron air filters while the high technology
theatres have 2-micron filters and motorized, state of the art
electronically controlled operating tables and matching overhead
operating lamps. The sophisticated air-conditioning and ventilation
system ensures at least 30 total air changes per hour in each OT.
The theatre design and functioning has attracted much attention from
surgeons and hospital planners all over and is bound to become a
model for OT complexes of the future.

 The Accident & Emergency department compares with the best in
the world and functions round the clock with a physician, surgeon and
anesthetist in constant attendance. They are backed by
super-specialties consultants on minute call, specially trained and
qualified nursing staff and all the essential life-sustaining
facilities. Including pipes ( Centralized ) medicinal gases and
suction, a 500 mA mobile X-ray machine, Cardiac monitors,
defibrillators, set of three ventilators and a separate
operation
theatre complex solely dedicated to accident and emergency work. |
