Dr B R Desai Programme Director & Chief Consultant

Completed his MBBS in 1972 & MD in 1976 from Karnataka Institute of Medical Sciences, Karnataka University. He is member of various bodies like FOGSI, European Society of Human Reproduction & Embryology (ESHRE), American Society of Reproductive Medicine (ASRM) & Indian Society for Assisted Reproduction (ISAR). He has been conferred as Fellow of Indian College of obstetrics & Gynecology. He was awarded the British Council Fellowship in 1988 at School of Tropical Medicine Liverpool. He underwent his ART training at Chaucer Hospital UK. He was visiting faculty/ observer for several countries like, Australia 2003, Singapore 2003, China 2006 and South Africa 2007.

Dr Jayashree Ruge Consultant Assisted Reproduction Centre

Completed her MBBS in 1986 and DGO in 1988 from Karnataka University. She underwent her Ultrasonography training at premier institute, Mediscan Centre, Chennai, in January 2000. She participated in the ART Course for Clinicians held on 23-25th September, 2008, China.

Nandeshwar S Patil Consultant & Chief Embryologist

Completed his Masters Degree in 1995 & M.Phil in 1996 from Karnataka University. Worked as Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in the Govt. of India’s Department of Science & Technology’s (DST) major project. Discovered and documented first scientific report on direct development in anuran amphibians in India. He is Essentially a Reproductive Biologist (Anim) -By Post Graduation, Developmental Biologist / Embryologist (Anim) - By Research in animal reproductive & developmental biology and Clinical Embryologist By Training. He had 5 years of association with Dr Joshua Peter, a towering personality in Indian IVF and where he got his initial training and fine tuning of his skills. He has credited with several publications & has participated in several national workshops & conferences.
