Policy 14 :- Patients under examination and treatment in various clinics in the OPD may require special investigations or examination which warrant prescribed special fee to be paid for such examination/investigation.

These can be grouped in different categories:-

Whereas the general diagnostic facility like pathology lab, x-ray, gamma camera etc, provision has been made centrally in the diagnostic block of the hospital. The policy would be that the consultant /clinic will be initiate a request form for such investigations/examinations and the patient or lustier attendant would bring the request form to the diagnostic services counter in the main lobby where he/she will be required to get the investigations/examinations cost estimated and computed, deposit the amount at the cash counter and on the authority of the paid and stamped request form he/she will proceed for the required examination/investigation.
