The Staff includes the trained and qualified technical assistants for different specialties supported by the General duty Staff. The anesthetic team Co-ordinates the OT allotment for different cases. The over all functioning of OT Complex is executed  under the control of Director Operation Theatre, Who is well qualified and experienced in surgery and administration.

Pattern of working

The OT Complex is designed to work round the clock. The emergency cases are taken up immediately. For planned listed cases, the preparations are made as per the OT list, which is printed and circulated to concerned ward and departments the day previous to operation. The list indicates the sequence of cases being operated in each OT & other relevant details including the required special equipments. For the non listed cold surgery cases also the OT is always made available. The names of the scrub Assistants and circulating nurse are specified and displayed on the OT notice board.

The general working hours are from SAM to 5PM. Adequate staff is also posted to cover the needs from 5PM onwards.

Supply of Stores :

CSSD :  Sterilized equipments properly grouped in sets as per the standard list prepared for each surgery and the Sterile linen is supplied by CSSD.

The important equipments installed here are -

Laundry :

Provides the clean linen of general nature. The important equipments installed include sulching Machine, Washing machine, Hydro Extractor Drying tumbler, Cylinder machine with double roller and iron, Press machine, Cotton buck press. Dry clean machine and cotton mushroom press.
