Karnataka Lingayat Education Society has made a mark on the map of India since last 94 years, being based in Belgaum, Karnataka.

Today K. L. E. Society runs over 210 institutions in various fields of education and health care. We have been stepping in almost all facilities of education that can build a person's dream into reality.

We have ensured that the communication facilities and other amenities provided to all students and the staff is a vital link to establish an effective education.

Our great concern towards the social life around has taken us into health care infrastructures all over India.

History
In 1916, Karnataka Lingayat Education (K. L. E.) Society was founded by the Seven Founder Life Members, who are also addressed as "Saptarishis" [Seven Saints].

On 13th November 1916, K. L. E. Society started an Anglo Vernacular School in Belgaum. Lingaraj College came into existence in June 1933. In 1947, B. V. Bhoomaraddi College of Engineering and Technology was started in Hubli. J. N. Medical College at Belgaum and Gudleppa Halllikeri. College at Haveri was started in the year 1963.

From 1984 onwards, K. L. E. Society started Dental, Education, Nursing, Information Technology, Computer Applications, Hotel Management, Business Management, Tourism, Fashion Designing, and Polytechnics across India. Today under the leadership of Mr. Prabhakar Kore an able and dynamic team leader K. L. E. Society runs 210 institutions.

Aims & Objectives

	To establish colleges, Schools and other educational institutions of various kinds in important places as may be determined from time to time by the society at a meeting of the General Body.
	To take over or affiliate Colleges and Schools belongings to or managed by other similar Educational Societies or Local Self Governing Bodies, for purposes of management and control.
	To spread Education in general and impart instruction in any branch of knowledge, wherever and whenever feasible.
