This department has an independent identity and works in co-ordination with other allied surgical field apart from a well equipped Burns Unit, the department has undertaken in a short span of time a large number of reconstructive surgeries, especially in the Trauma cases and planned Cosmetic Surgeries for those desire it.

	Performed the 1st Sex marrigriment surgery in this post of the county on 4th June, 2002
	The Department was recognised by the Smile Train New York to Sparser Cleft Lip - Palate Surgeries
