Dr. Roopa M Bellad, MBBS, DCH, MD Pediatrics, is a highly experienced pediatrician with over 33 years of service at KLES Dr. Prabhakar Kore Hospital & MRC in Belagavi. She has been a faculty member since 1992, serving as the Head of the Department of Pediatrics from 2013 to 2016 and as the Unit head since 2006. Dr. Bellad is also the Director of Academic Affairs at KAHER from 2021-2024 and the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine at KAHER since June 2024. Her areas of expertise include PICU, human lactation management, adolescent health, and human milk banking. Dr. Bellad treats a variety of conditions such as Autism, ADHD, Bronchial Asthma, Cerebral Palsy, Pediatric Cancer, and Respiratory Distress Syndrome. She offers procedures including pediatric consultation, neonatal care, pediatric intensive care, human milk banking, lactation counseling, and pediatric hemato-oncology consultation. Dr. Bellad is a member of several prestigious medical organizations and has published numerous articles in international and national journals. She is dedicated to providing comprehensive and compassionate care to her young patients.
